The purpose of the Regional Championships is to name Regional Champions in the USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic program and Elite Program in Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline, Synchronized Trampoline and Tumbling.  Regional Championships is a qualification meet to the 2015 National Championships.

Each team, please send one check for the entire team entered.
Please don’t include changes with your payment. All changes by email as noted below. Don’t bother sending a hard copy of your entry. This will be discarded, and will not be audited against your emailed entry.

REFUNDS: Full refunds will be granted if requested prior to the entry deadline of April 10th

CORRECT ENTRIES: After April 30, information may be changed or corrected for a charge of $10 per correction. If an age or gender is listed incorrectly there will be $10 per event charge. All changes to an entry
must be sent in an excel spread sheets with changes highlighted.

 ENTRY DATA: All entries and changes must be sent in an excel spread sheet. All athletes must be current USAG athlete members, including levels 1-4. Please include all coaches’ numbers you may want to have on the floor. Coaches who are not listed will not be allowed on the floor.

 2015 Regional Entry Form

ADMISSION: Spectator admissions will be updated on the website at a later date. Registered athletes with gymnast credentials will be admitted free. Coaches will need to have their credentials to have access to venue.

AWARDS: Medals given for places 1-6, and up to 50% of the larger age divisions.

WARM UPS: Friday May 15th may have training times for teams unless entries are so large that it requires Friday competition. Competition will be with touches only (similar to nationals’ format.)

EQUIPMENT:

  • Eurotramp Ultimate trampolines with 4x4mm beds
  • Eurotramp Double-mini trampoline 6x6mm bed
  • Ross Rod Tumbling floor

COACHES: Please read the dress code in the code of points. This dress code for coaches and judges will be strictly enforced. All coaches and officials must be current USAG Professionals and have all required certifications. Athletes should be ready to compete with touches only, as per the code of points. Only Professional Members can spot! So coaches we need you to step up at trampoline. Only coaches with meet credentials will be allowed out on the floor.

JUDGES: All Judges will be assigned and scheduled by Deanna Hanford, our Region 2 Technical Director

HOSPITALITY: Hospitality will be provided for all coaches, judges, and volunteers.

SAFETY: For the safety of your child and others participating in the Regional Championships, we ask the following:

Please do not use flash photography of any kind. Bright lights on video cameras are also prohibited. No one is allowed to use any equipment or fixtures for unsupervised play. Only professional members and athletes who are competing in the current session are allowed in the field of play.

COMPETITION FLOOR OFF LIMITS: Due to the strict safety standards of USA Gymnastics only those parents who have volunteered to help will be allowed on the competition floor.

Check the official Region 2 Championship web site often for updates. A Tentative Schedule will be posted until all entries are received. A final detailed competition schedule will be posted as soon as it is available. Please note that due to large entries, the tentative schedule may be altered dramatically. We will try to keep the athletes on the same day if possible.
